 Day 1: Hanoi arrival

  • Xin chao! Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam. Hanoi, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture, history and the engaging contradictions of a rapidly developing and deeply traditional society.
  • You meet at Noi Bai airport by our local guide and learn a bit about this fascinating country on the way to our hotel.
  • You then drive to Hanoi Center, explore the lively Old Quarter of Hanoi. This bustling heart of Hanoi has been a commercial centre since King Ly Thai to built his palace there in the 11th century. Skilled craftsmen started to migrate and artisan guilds were formed on the famous "36 Streets".
  • Close your day by attending a wonderful performance of Water Puppet Show.
  • Overnight in Hanoi

 

 

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

  • Breakfast at hotel before heading out to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Ha Long you will board an overnight cruise amongst the more than 3,000 limestone islands rising majestically out of the turquoise bay. You pass grand rock formations and quaint fishing towns, and sample a delicious lunch of freshly caught fish and seafood.
  • In the afternoon you can choose from several interesting activities: a cooking demonstration with chef on board, an optional traditional massage, or a refreshing swim. End the day with a spectacular set-menu gastronomic dinner
  • Overnight on board.

 

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (Br)

  • Start the day with calming Tai Chi, often accompanied by an amazing sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of the bay’s landscape. The cruise passes beautiful spots such as Trong, Trinh Nu and the Me Cung Caves, and you will have a chance to explore Surprise Cave before having buffet brunch on board.

              Back at the dock, where you will be met and transferred to Hanoi

              Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 4: Hanoi - Saigon (B)

  • After breakfast at hotel, head out to Ba Dinh Square and start your day with The Presidential Palace (formerly Palace of the Governor-General of French Indochina), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilt and nearby One Pillar Pagoda.
  • Following is a visit to the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam built in 11th century.
  • Next is a visit to the Museum of Ethnology, which gives an excellent overview of the country's ethnic groups, their customs and ways of life. The highlight here is the large, beautiful outdoor area featuring genuine houses and compounds as built and used by the many different ethnic groups.
  • Take flight to Saigon.
  • Overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 5: Tay Ninh - Cu Chi (B)

  • Morning Tour is Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh.
  • 07:45am - 08:15am, Driver and tour guide will pick you up then start from Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh - a province 95 kms South East of Ho Chi Minh City, close to Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple is like a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. Its exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.
  • Cao Dai Temple is the eclectic mix of colours and the amazing use of architecture create a space of beauty, spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavor to western palates!
  • For the midday service which was unbelievable in Cao Dai Temple - do not miss this!
  • Afternoon tour is Cu Chi Tunnel Tour.
  • 13.00 pm, after you have a lunch, we will leave Tay Ninh and travel to Cu Chi Tunnel. Once in Vietnam, you must visit this spot. This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquered the area! You’ll have a chance to crawl around a portion of the 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. You’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great technique to conceal smoke from their cooking. There’re a lot more to enjoy, even a chance to fire real AK bullets…
  • Finish Cao Dai Temple - Cu Chi Tunnels 1 Day Tour. Arriving Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City at 06.00pm - 07.00pm.
  • Overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 6: Full day city tour (B)

  • In the morning, visit the Reunification Palace, the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The nearby Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883, most materials for Saigon's Notre Dame Cathedral were imported from France. Neo-Romanesque in form, it is a major centre of Catholicism in modern Vietnam, and one of the city’s major landmarks.
  • Then visit War Remnant Museum,
  • Next to the cathedral stands the Saigon Post Office, a classic French colonial structure, is still a functioning post office today and features huge ceilings, a giant portrait of Uncle Ho, and many beautiful details.
  • Final visit of the day is to Ben Thanh Market – an icon of the city, stands in the center of District 1. Packed to the rafters with everything from fruits to nuts, from tourist kitsch to true bargains, it is a definite must-see.
  • Overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 7: Departure (B)

  • Morning free at leisure in Saigon City and do some last minute shopping before taking your flight.
  • End of service.

 Cancellation Policy:

• If the participant requests to cancel the tour in writing, the money refundable will be as follows:

A) Before 15 Days of tour     :         No refund

B) Before 21 Days of tour     :         25% refund

C) Before 30 Days of tour     :         50% refund

D) Before 45 Days of tour     :         Full refund

 No money is refundable if the programmed is cancelled on customer’s request within last 15 days of the scheduled departure or in case of ‘No Show’ on the date of departure. Legitimate refund of money due to the passenger will be made only after the tour date
