On the southernmost tip of India, this beautiful place is there. Kanyakumari is located in Tamil Nadu and is one of the best tourist places.  Kanyakumari was known as Cape Comorin during the British rule. The sunset point and the sunrise point at this location are worth seeing. Surrounded by kilometers of water this point looks the outstanding one.  Kanyakumari is also famous for the pilgrimages present there. On the full moon evenings which are called as Chitra Purnima by the local people, one can see the moonrise and sunset at the same time.
