Rising above the plains of Junagadh in Gujarat, Girnar Parvat—also known as Revatak Parvat—is one of India’s most sacred mountains. Revered as the eternal abode of Shree Datta Prabhu, its slopes are home to ancient Hindu and Jain temples visited by thousands of devotees every year.

This Girnar Parvat Yatra from Mumbai combines the spiritually rewarding Girnar ascent with darshan at Somnath Jyotirlinga and other sacred places in Gujarat. Whether you climb the traditional stone steps or use the ropeway for part of the journey, the experience offers a powerful blend of devotion, endurance and natural beauty.

Itinerary

Report at Bandra Terminus and board Train No. 19217, Saurashtra Janta Express, at 1:40 PM for the overnight journey to Junagadh.

Meals aboard the train are not included.

Arrive at Junagadh Railway Station at approximately 4:45 AM and transfer to the hotel near Girnar.

After breakfast, proceed to Somnath for darshan at the sacred Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple. Continue to Triveni Sangam, Golokdham, Geeta Mandir and Bhalkatirtha.

Return to Junagadh for dinner and an overnight stay. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Begin the Girnar Parvat Yatra early in the morning. Devotees climbing without the ropeway should start around midnight to complete the ascent and return by evening.

Those using the ropeway will travel part of the way before continuing towards Amba Mata Temple. From there, ascend and descend Gorakshnath Parvat before proceeding towards Guru Shikhar for darshan at the sacred Datta Guru Charan Paduka Temple.

Descend towards Kamalkund Dhuni Annakshetra for prasad, visit Gorakshnath Temple and return to the ropeway station. The usual ropeway operating time is from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, subject to weather and operational conditions.

A dry snack packet will be provided. Breakfast and lunch are not included on this day. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Junagadh. (Dry Snacks & Dinner)

After breakfast, check out and visit selected local attractions in Junagadh.

Transfer to Junagadh Railway Station and board Train No. 19218, Saurashtra Janta Express, at approximately 1:04 PM for the return journey to Mumbai.

A packed lunch will be provided. Other meals aboard the train are not included. (Breakfast & Packed Lunch)

Arrive at Bandra Terminus at approximately 5:45 AM, concluding the Girnar Parvat and Somnath Yatra with divine blessings and memorable experiences.
