Itinerary

Arrive at Agartala Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and take some time to relax after your journey.

In the evening, visit Heritage Park, which presents the culture, history and important landmarks of Tripura through landscaped gardens and miniature displays.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agartala.

After breakfast, drive to Melaghar and visit the iconic Neer Mahal. Located in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake, this former royal palace is one of the most distinctive heritage attractions in Tripura.

Continue to Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the region’s most revered pilgrimage sites. Later, visit Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to more than 150 bird species and the rare Phayre’s langur. Optional boating is available on Amrit Sagar Lake at an additional cost.

Please note that Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary remains closed on Fridays.

Return to Agartala and visit Umamaheswari Temple and the magnificent Ujjayanta Palace. Overnight stay in Agartala.

After breakfast, travel to Chabimura to witness its remarkable rock-carved images of Shiva, Vishnu, Mahishasuramardini Durga and other Hindu deities.

These impressive carvings are located along the banks of the Gomati River and are believed to date to the 15th and 16th centuries. A boat ride to view the carvings closely can be arranged at an additional cost.

In the afternoon, visit the Akhaura Border between India and Bangladesh. Witness the Beating Retreat ceremony, subject to the ceremony being operational on the day of the visit.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agartala.

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey towards Silchar.

Stop at Unakoti, an ancient Shiva pilgrimage site believed to date to the 7th–9th centuries. The site is known for its enormous rock-cut sculptures and murals surrounded by forested hills and seasonal waterfalls.

After exploring Unakoti, continue to Silchar. Check in to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Aizawl, the picturesque capital of Mizoram.

Enjoy the changing scenery as the journey moves from the Barak Valley into Mizoram’s rolling hills. Arrive in Aizawl, complete the hotel check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

After breakfast, begin your Aizawl sightseeing tour with a visit to the State Museum, where you can learn about Mizo history, traditional clothing, customs and cultural heritage.

Continue to Durtlang Hills and Solomon’s Temple, one of the city’s most impressive religious landmarks.

In the afternoon, drive to Zuangtu and visit the Aizawl Peak Skywalk. Enjoy panoramic views of Aizawl, the surrounding hills and the valleys below. Entry fees are payable directly.

Stay until sunset for a memorable view before returning to the hotel. The evening is free for leisure.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Thenzawl and Hmuifang.

Reach Thenzawl and trek towards the beautiful Thenzawl Waterfalls. Take time to enjoy the forested surroundings, cascading water and peaceful natural environment.

Continue to Hmuifang Hills, one of Mizoram’s most scenic mountain destinations. Admire the expansive valley views and refreshing hill atmosphere before driving back to Aizawl.

The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Aizawl.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Aizawl Airport according to your scheduled departure time.
